Our Beliefs

  • God

    is the creator of the universe. He has eternally existed as Father, Son & Holy Spirit. Genesis 1:1

  • Humans

    are made in the image of God. Sin separates us from God & His purpose in our lives. Isaiah 53:6

  • Jesus

    reconciled humans to God. He lived a sinless life, died & rose again demonstrating His power over sin & death. Isaiah 9:6

  • Eternity

    To be eternally separated from God by sin is hell. To be eternally with God through salvation is heaven. John 3:16

  • Salvation

    is a gift from God. It begins when someone recognises they need a Saviour, repents & receives Jesus by faith. Romans 6:23

  • Holy Spirit

    empowers Christians to live for God & to operate in spiritual gifts. 1 Corinthians 2:12

  • Baptism

    is a person’s public declaration that they have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. Colossians 2:12

  • The Bible

    is God’s Word written under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. It’s the source of truth & guidance, relevant to everyday life. 2 Timothy 3:16

  • Communion

    allows us to remember Jesus’ sacrifice & new covenant. The bread and wine are symbols of His body & blood sacrificed to reconcile us to God. Matthew 26:26

  • Healing

    is available through the redemptive work of Jesus on the cross. James 5:6

  • Church

    is the universal body of believers, empowered by God to fulfill the Great Commission. Matthew 28:16-20

  • Jesus’ Return

    Jesus is coming back again as He promised in His word. Matthew 24:44
